2/5/03 - Lakeside "Mob" Takes Second Place at Home Builders Association Chili Cook-Off

The annual event, which was sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland, had a record breaking year with well over 200 in attendance. Lakeside placed third for best booth theme, which featured it's "World Famous Sopranos Western Red Cedar Chili." Lakeside boasted the claim "We're going to make you a bowl of chili that you can't refuse." They were almost prophetic in that they took second place in the Critics Choice category for best Chili. Arbor Homes took first place in both categories.
