2. Define the Project

Lakeside professionals can review your plans, answer questions, and make suggestions. We can also visit your home for a precise material measurement. This free service saves you time and eliminates the inconvenience of ordering insufficient or excess material.

3. Prime or Stain

Lakeside Lumber has the unique ability to prime or stain any of our real wood products at our lumber yard. Lakeside siding and trim are available with a specially formulated Miller Paint Co. Lakeside Primer, a premium quality, oil rich, alkyd primer for exterior siding and trim. Each board is hand fed into a flood coating machine which saturates and then back brushes each board on all four sides.

Miller Paint Company’s limited lifetime warranty is available when you apply Miller’s Evolution exterior topcoat to Lakeside’s preprimed siding in accordance with Miller Paint’s specific warranty guidelines.

In the event you prefer a more natural look, Lakeside also has the ability to stain any of our products any color or brand you specify using the same flood coating process. It is a process that Lakeside has perfected over several decades. Our experienced sales staff is ready to help you decide which choice is right for you.

Please note that color variations are common with any untreated wood product. Some untreated boards may be darker than others. Unlike a solid body primer or top coat, applying a stain to raw wood will not have the effect of creating a uniform appearance and some stained boards may be darker than others. Consequently, each board in any subsequently placed order with Lakeside Lumber will not identically match this sample.

4. Prepare Estimate

When you request a siding bid or request a decking bid a Lakeside carefully prepares a cost estimate. This estimate provides the basis for good customer communications. Referrals of reputable siding/decking contractors will be provided upon request.

5. Delivery

After our estimate gets your stamp of approval, we will establish delivery dates for your materials. In order to afford maximum protection during shipment, your siding or decking package will be assembled complete with bottom boards. Your order will be also be covered with Lakeside Lumber's heavy duty plastic wrapping for protection against the elements during installation. When making delivery, be assured our experienced drivers will respect your property.

There is no charge for most deliveries within 20 miles of our lumber yard.

6. Project Complete

We complete your project with continued communications to assure your 100% customer satisfaction.
