An overview

This vertical design is created using wide boards with a narrow batten that covers the wide board joints. There is no set board or batten widths - which is why the style is so flexible. This range means this siding pattern can work for both a farmhouse home or a more modern home. Board and batten siding can also be installed in reverse with boards over battens as well. This pattern achieves a textured look with varying levels that create depth.

Key features & benefits

  • Available in a variety of materials - wood, composite, and fiber cement.
  • Flexible design. Different looks can be achieved based on the spacing of the battens.
  • Timeless style will add curb appeal to your exterior.
